Our Services
CFT Therapy
Compassion Focused Therapy helps promote mental and emotional healing by encouraging people in treatment to be compassionate toward themselves and other people. In our early lives, most of us are not taught how to be compassionate towards ourselves and this can have negative effects in later life. We are fortunate that we can learn these skills later in life. Based on what you are struggling with, we may recommended CFT alongside CBT.
CBT Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the first line of treatment for a variety of mental health difficulties as recommended by the NHS and NICE Guidelines. CBT is a talking therapy which helps you to change the way you think and behave.
Clinical Supervision
Muge Ahmet CBT (BABCP), accredited and EMDR therapist, is currently providing supervision to students at Hertfordshire University IAPT course and Goldsmiths University. If you are a trainee or qualified, please do get in touch if you would like clinical supervision.
Eye Movement Densitisation & Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing is a form of psychotherapy used to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Over time, evidence has shown it to be effective for depression and anxiety. EMDR utilises the natural healing ability of your body.
